Bio-identical hormones

As an endocri­no­lo­gi­cally trained practice specia­li­zing in hormone diagno­stics and therapy, we also offer indivi­du­ally tailored supple­men­ta­tion with nature-identical hormones (RIMKUS method) in addition to the classic hormone substi­tu­tion therapies for the menopause. 

Hormones play a crucial role in our bodies throug­hout our lives; they control our develo­p­ment, influence our perso­na­lity, regulate many metabolic processes - and are unfort­u­na­tely often respon­si­ble for various problems. From the menopause onwards in parti­cu­lar, but also before, fluctua­tions or the decline and later disap­pearance of the body's own hormones lead to degene­ra­tive changes, mood disorders, accele­ra­ted signs of ageing, etc. (which also affect men, inciden­tally, and are referred to as "andro­pause").

Hormones have decisive medical effects: they maintain our metabo­lism, protect against osteo­po­ro­sis, reduce the risk of bowel cancer and Alzheimer's disease. In addition, they can improve muscle and joint complaints, have a clear benefit for skin and hair, ensure better sleep, mental balance, better resili­ence (psycho­lo­gi­cally and physi­cally) and slow down ageing processes. 

We offer very diffe­ren­tia­ted care for hormonal issues by being able to make a good assess­ment of the situation through detailed anamnesis and labora­tory blood tests and then offer appro­priate therapy concepts, whether with products from the pharmaceu­ti­cal industry or bio-identical hormone therapies specially produced for you by the pharmacy. Not only the "classic" female hormones oestrogen and proges­te­rone are used here, but also testo­ste­rone, DHEA, pregnen­olone or 5-HTP as required.
